British Invasion Concert!
The Allegheny Brass Band, in partnership with the Pittsburgh Savoyards, is pleased to announce The British Invasion, a concert of music by all-British composers and arrangers. The program includes a variety of musical selections that are sure to warm the cockles of late-winter hearts. Enjoy stirring marches, lyrical folk song suites, a selection of British sea songs and even a special tribute to Agent 007. The concert will also include Gilbert and Sullivan selections as a run-up to the Savoyards’ production of The Pirates of Penzance, which opens the following week. All proceeds from the concert will benefit the Pittsburgh Savoyards.
