Stephen Baldanzi, Music Director
Mr. Baldanzi joined the ABB in 2001. He is currently the director of bands at North Allegheny High School. He earned a Bachelor of Music in composition with a minor in music education at William Paterson University in Wayne, New Jersey. While there, he studied trumpet with Dr. Dorothy Heier and David Sampson of the Solid Brass Ensemble. He completed a Masters of Music in composition at Carnegie Mellon University, Pgh., PA studying with Robert Page and Leonardo Balada. He also attended the Aspen School Music studying with Lukas Foss and George Tsontakis. Mr. Baldanzi is involved with various community groups including Stage 62 Theater Company in Carnegie. Mr. Baldanzi is currently a member of PMEA, MENC, and the International Trumpet Guild.
